Today Amber and I had another doctor appointment. Everything showed up well in the ultrasound, and our baby is growing. The heartbeat was good and strong. Our little guy was even moving around a little bit and waved his arm. While I refer to the baby as a boy, we will not know the gender until sometime in early November. Still, things are going well. Amber is still sick as can be taking the Zofran to help. Our doctor gave her a prescription for 4mg of steroids which should help kick the nauseous cycle. It seems to be helping some today. Next week we go in for some blood tests so we'll update you all more then.
Only other news is I have to keep an eye on Hurricane Gustav. Yep, part of the job, and my job could get a whole lot busier by the end of the week. Still think the storm will move into the Gulf and make landfall east of Louisiana. Still plenty of time to keep an eye on how it moves. Always crazy how the media tends to over-hype storms in my opinion.

I'm so excited to hear that all is continuing to go well! I hope Amber gets to feeling better - I know she has to be miserable!! *hugs*
We are SO excited to hear how well everything is going & we'll continue to life you THREE up in prayer daily. We are thrilled for you guys & I can't wait until the Lord makes Amber a mommy someday soon!
How's the hurr. Ike situation? We need some updates on whether y'all had to flee or not. Give Amber our love!
