As you can see it has been about 6 months since I last made a blog entry. So, either there has not been a lot going on with Amber and I, or I just stink at posting entries. The later is more likely. So, we will take it month to month and update you on what is going on with Scott and Amber.
We had a good memorial service, but Amber and I realized we needed some time for us. We needed time to re-group and to recover. So the weekend after the memorial service, we took a long weekend to Orlando, Florida. We decided we needed some play time as well. We booked a room at the Comfort Suites near Universal Studios. We spent a day touring Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure roller-coaster park, Wet n' Wild water park, Sea World, and Busch Gardens in Tampa. We bought the 5 park passes so we could go to all of them the 5 days we were there. We were exhausted after the second day which was spent at Islands of Adventure. We had lots of fun on the roller-coasters. We also ate dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and Bubba Gump Scrimp. Emmeril's restaurant was a bit too dressy for us and more expensive. It still would have been a fun dining experience. We enjoyed every bit of fun at the theme parks and hope one day we can take our own family there. The picture of us is in front of Universal Studios.
