All systems go!

It has been a week since we last saw our doctor. Our doctor checked Amber out and made sure the cerclage is good to go. The ultrasound showed that everything looked good and normal. The baby is doing well. The picture is from that ultrasound and you can actually see the arm. While we were checking out our little person, we could see it scratch its head. It was kind of cool. We have our next doctors appointment next Friday. Our next major ultrasound scan is on November 12. We should know whether we have a boy or a girl at that time.

I continue to try to figure out what to do with our damaged fence. The insurance adjuster did finally come last week. I'm not sure how much money we'll get to replace the fence. We may end up having to just build back what we can and replace what we can't so we can save money. We may only get enough money from insurance to do that. I guess I will have to learn how to build a fence. I may only start out small and do a little at a time. While that is happenning, I hope I can get some estimates from fence builders. I'm sure they are charging a premium, and then there are the scams to be aware. At least we have our DirecTV back. I had to work with them to fix it for no charge, and also came away with a credit since we did not have service for a month. We also got some free movie channels for three months. Not a bad deal. At least I don't have to go back to evil Comcast (If you have had success with cable companies, I applaud you! I have not!). For now, we do have a temporary fence up to let out the dog, but that is about all that it is good for.

We appreciate people checking on us with the blog and appreciate the prayers for the baby. Please also pray that we find a church to serve. We have been able to be apart of a small group made up of friends from our old church in hopes of finding a new church. We know we may not end up at the same church, but it has been a good time to encourage each other and pray.
