28 Weeks!

Yesterday we had another doctors appointment. We made it through the Christmas and New Year holiday without incident. We are also happy to be at 28 weeks which means should Amber go into labor early, Emma will most likely survive after spending time in the NIC-U. We now set our sites on two more dates - 32 weeks and 36 weeks. The 32 week mark is the beginning of February and marks that if Emma were born early, she would not only survive but also not have any developmental issues. At the 36 week mark, or the first week of March, Amber will have the cerclage removed. This means that after that, Emma could be born at any moment. We are now getting the house together and baby room organized. It is time to buy the baby furniture and bedding. You can certainly say that Amber is beginning to nest.
