Amber and I put on the finishing touches on the baby room for Emma. We still have a few more things to do, but for the most part, the room is ready to go. Having an early childhood education degree, Amber wanted to make sure we had some bright colors and an overall cheery decor. She really liked the Alphabet Soup theme by Cocalo. The crib and dresser/changer combo unit are made by Baby's Dream furniture. We then brought in a recliner we could use as a rocker so that we could fall asleep when the baby does. We also got a night stand and bookcase from Target. Amber is most proud of the letters for Emma hanging on the wall. On the lower right corner of each letter for Emma is a letter spelling out Hope so we got her middle name in there also. Here are a couple of pictures so you can check it out. I certainly felt like the Daddy putting together the crib, bookcase and night stand. Thankfully the dresser came all assembled.
We are down to one more week. The doctor on Friday said Amber was still doing fine and looks like we may be more on track to induce. We'll see how things pan out. I know Amber is ready for this to be over, but just really excited to meet Emma. We all are!
