We had some very good visits with our friend Gaelle who came for two weeks from France. We had a good time showing her around Galveston and Houston for a week while the other week was spent with Amber's parents and visiting Tommy and Jenn in Lake Charles. Life has slowed down some since then and we are getting ready for a couple more visits. My parents will be coming for a couple of days before leaving to go to Alaska for a couple of weeks to tour around. My dad has recovered enough from Ramsey Hunt syndrome that he can go on the trip. The shingles have healed but Dad still struggles with the Bell Palsy that is affecting his face. Please pray he continues to get better. While my parents are gone to Alaska, we will see Amber's parents and dog sit for them while they go to San Francisco for a long weekend. So the first part of August will prove to be a little busy, but not too bad.
Emma is now 4 months old so enjoy these pictures at that age. Emma is getting more personality and has lots of joy. She will get her 4 month shots tomorrow so, that will not be a happy occasion. Emma is now sleeping in her own room for most if not all the night. She continues to grow and get stronger. She has figured out how to grab my necklace, so we have to be more careful when holding her.
