September really was not all that busy of a month, but got a little crazy towards the end for certain people's birthday. Well, yes, my birthday was on the 30th and I (Scott) turned 35 years old. The week before that though, Emma got her 6 month shots as well as a flu shot. She was not a happy camper, but survived. Two days later, Amber and Emma went to Sulphur, LA to visit cousin Allie, Uncle Tommy and Aunt Jennifer. You see, Allie was born on the 30th as well and turned 2 years old. So the whole family was together to celebrate. They all had a good time, unfortunately, I was stuck working the midnight shifts. Oh well. It was worth it, because our family made a trip out to North Carolina the first week of October. More on that later. But to close out September, we celebrated birthdays and this year I got a Houston Dynamo replica jersey. Now I can go to Dynamo soccer games in style.
